My Life, Your Story.

Was amazed by how much a book can teach..
On the "supposedly" complicated thingy in life tt has been troubling ppl @ all times..
However at this instant, everything seems so simple & straightforward le.. =)

~When we date, we often have a window-shopping attitude that has "self" as the base: How will we look "wearing" our prospective partner... having him... holding him... owning him? We try on another person for size and see whether their style suits us.~

Courtship, on the other hand, is totally different.
~God's solution for man's aloneness is marriage, not dating. The principles of courtship is a biblical process of finding and choosing a mate while glorifying God and honouring and respecting each other. No broken hearts. No painful baggage. No walking out.~

*It's so impt not to try to pick someone and make it happen but just to let God work in the situation. God is in control and desires what is best for us!*

1) Not to date or shop around (again!!) but to save ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually for the one person God would have us marry. To exchange dating for courtship is to demonstrate faith in God's will and His power to bring that will to pass in our lives. We wait on God's timing and God's revelation, believing that He will show us what to do and whom to marry.

2) While we wait for God to reveal His choice of a mate, we concentrate on being the right person instead of finding the right person. We do this by involving ourselves in ministry, fellowship, and friendships that help us focus on our value and identity in Christ instead of our value on someone else.

Abandon dating, adopt courtship.

SJ: "So u attached now?"
Me(proudly): "Nope!"
SJ: "keke ok.. better if he is a christian huh?"
Me: "No. He MUST be one. & i know he will be la coz it'll be God who is choosing mah.."
& he will be a christian who is spiritually stronger then me.. *wide grin*

1st time w such confidence.

Really great tt i dun have to worry abt anything le..
Just concentrate on Him. My dear heavenly Father...
& surely, everything will fall into place.
Even if it means w/o having a partner... Now or forever.

I'm so glad that i'm single now. Coz i'm definitely not ready/matured enough now to be in a relationship God has planned for me. I will have to be the right person 1st. Heez.
