Brought zac to the VET today.

Apparently he had been scratching his ears & shaking his head abit TOO frequent than usual for the past one wk or so, & i know tt ear problems are rather common to dogs so got quite worried.

Persuaded dad for days to bring him & finally, we brought him to check it out today.

Yesshhh Bu Chu Wo Suo Liao....... zac got ear mites!! (yucky i know)

Now a weightload is lifted off me.

Gonna clean his ears & bua4 cream for the next few wks everyday la, feed him his anti-inflammatory medicine la, & also his Vitamin E to curb shedding problems..

& mum has won over me when we asked the doc whether zac could eat chicken meat not..

Yes he can. It won't have any effect on his speed of shedding fur. (stupid Blk 418 pet shop owner.. said better dun give him eat chicken meat thus mum & i have been debating over this for couple of wks to give or not to give. Of coz, i say NO but she insisted on saying its OK. *coz boiled CHICKEN WINGS are ah zac's fav food* Fine now tt after doc's verification, she WINS.. -_-")

Haha i think i'm turning into some dog expert or wat liao.. =P

2 weeks ago my fellow neighbour who owns a cute little Jack Russell (Spencer) lent me 1 book for training dogs & gave me another which includes basic general knowledge of dogs & the diff breeds ard in the world. (heh heh zac looks almost EXACTLY like one WHITE HUSKEY inside! No joke!!) Has been reading them recently & learnt sooo much abt dogs frm them..

Oh talking abt neighbours' dogs, i realized my neighbourhood got plenty of dogs leh..
Other than the little Spencer mentioned above,
there's another fat jack russell named Simon,
a sweet little cross of maltese & shit tsu called Angel,
a 4-yr old Rough Collie (HE IS DAMN SHUAI!!!) named Boston,
a silky terrier named mustin (or muskin cant rem.. -_-),
a huge chow chow (duno wat name),
a cute active little white furred bitch by the name of Snowy (duno wat breed) *zac loves her to bits btw haha*
& a few more others which i duno the breed/name..
& of coz, zac has become v infamous here too (due to his size) among other dog owners & among ppl living here..
& the most interesting part is i actually met ppl whom i NVR see b4 calling out my dog's name aloud........... -_- *eerie* haha.

Trying to train him recently w the books i juz got... Haiz it AINT easy.......!!!
(ppl got $$ can send their dogs for training mahhh.. i no $$ so bo bian lor.. ga ki lai.. *sigh)

& I'd realized many mistakes tt i'd made in the past while looking aft him leh..

I scolded him, screamed even, whacked, pulled him outta my rm when i was frustrasted by his continuous barking.
& mind u, ALL of these was forbidden if u wanna nurture a good-tempered & obedient dog!!!!!! Arhhh... Someone told me dogs alike kids, MUST beat one.. -_-

End result of a temperamental owner who uses violence = A MORE agressive & hard to tame dog.

*Lesson learnt : NVR believe in ONE person so easily.. Seek FEW PROFESSIONAL advices!!!

So, i'm trying my best to change the way i treat zac now..
He barks, i REN. He bites, i also REN.
Haha.. Then follow how the book teaches lor.

Recently, things have been getting abit better la.
He has been more mild-tempered (YEAH~) but he'll still growls when he bua song.. haiz..
He's timid infront of some dogs (even cats sometimes) & strangers but towards me it's entirely DIFFERENT lor. He havent learnt to listen too. *sigh* So difficult..

Yah yah my fault la.. Lousy owner.. Late start-up. -_-
