My Life, Your Story.

Ok let me just quickly update what's gg on lately in my life..

31-Oct, Monday.
Went to work as usual, & everyone seemed to be in very good moods, knowing that this week will be packed w holidays. =)

Planned a grls' nights "in" at my house after work. Shuzhen & Yuanyuan insisted i gonna cook dinner 4 them, & being the (usual) lousy cook, i suggested the easy way out --> spaghetti, in which they contendly agreed.

Unfortunately, an unfateful incident happened.

What happened was Marine Dept had a big case coming in and since it was month-end, they die die HAVE TO close it that day.
Poor Shuzhen (finance dept) had no choice but to stay back for this case. & the rest of us waited, & waited, & waited.. & still, she's not done.......!!

So, bobian. Plan cancelled. Went off for dinner with Jan & Yuanyuan only instead.
As usual, 3 grls = a market place. An excellent time to erhum, exchange info.
Learnt a shocking news from Yuanyuan. Can't believe ppl R actually spreading such stuffs ard the co. After much discussion, we cautioned one another to be careful with our words & actions during work. *Red Alert: Grapevine activity IS scary!*

Jan followed me home, & our grls' talk continued thru the night.
Later, Wyne picked us up (with his dad's car) at 1am for supper @ this Indian kopitiam along Sembawang Road. The mee goreng & nasi goreng were good!! ^-^

Thinking that the night's still (rather) young, Wyne suggested gg over to Seletar Reservoir to enjoy the sea breeze *yes, THAT is the SEA at the other side* & some serenity in which we can totally need it for our work. (There isn't much places to go either. We are simple old folks who crave for simple stuffs in life.. =P)

Reached back home at 4am & u can't imagine how fast both Jan & i fell asleep upon hitting our pillows.. =)

Come to think of it I really do like this kind of simple & relaxed times, when i can just hang around the neighbourhood w few frenz in comfy shirt & shorts. We don't have to do anything "happening". Just sit by some rocks, listening to the stillness & quietness of the surroundings, & appreciating one another's company, can do wonders especially in reflecting oneself & settling one's heart down. (That is u dun mind the occasional techno music tt came banging out from motorbikes or the awesome stereo sound system of cars that costs $12k.....)

Jie. Til we get our license yea? Can't wait to go chill out @ the German cafe/pub near Sembawang park.. *wink*

Oh talking abt car licenses, I'm taking my driving test on 15th November!!! (so soon liao & i haven't even tried circuits yet.. *gulp*)
Rem to PRAY FOR ME k!!! Haha.. I definitely need lotsa prayers.. Will be taking a day's off (UNPAID LEAVE) from work so if i don't pass..... I'll be super xim tia w my pay lah..
