Almost finished reading "The Case for Christ" le.. Very very power book... Just cldn't bear to put it down leh! It reali taught me a lot more new things about the 4 gospels & about Jesus' death & resurrection! Heez i really do have an interest in apologetics.. =P

I got reminded of Jesus said to Thomas in the gospel of John, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

But yet some just need to have that sufficient evidence first to then be willing to accept the truth, that Jesus's indeed the Son of God, & He'd saved & redeemed us. Oh yesss... atheists for instance. That's when I got very perked up when i read this part of the author introducing his 11th interviewee --> William Lane Craig, P.H.D, D.TH.

"I had an unusual perspective the first time i saw Bill Craig in action: I was seated behind him as he defended Christianity before a crowd of nearly eighty thousand people, with countless others listening on more than hundred radio stations across the country.

As moderator of a debate between Craig and an atheist selected by the national spokesman for American Atheists, Inc., I marveled as Craig politely but powerfully built the case for Christianity while simultaneously dismantling the arguments for atheism. From where i was sitting, I could watch the faces of people as they discovered - many for the first time - that Christianity can stand up to rational analysis and rugged scrutiny.

In the end it was no contest. Among those who had entered that auditorium that evening as avowed atheists, agnostics, or skepics, an overwhelming 82% walked out concluding that the case for Christianity had been the most compelling. 47 people entered as non believers and exited as Christians - Craig's arguments for the faith were persuasive, especially compared with the paucity of evidence for atheism. Incidentally, nobody became an atheists.

& the book goes on establishing the case for Jesus through every kind of questions that you can imagine to throw Him down. Can the biographics of Jesus be trusted? Do the Biographies of Jesus stand up to scrutiny? Does Archaeology confirm or contradict Jesus' biographies? Was Jesus (Himself) really convinced that He was the Son of God? Was Jesus crazy when He claimed to be the Son of God? Did Jesus - and Jesus alone - Match the identity of the Messiah? Was Jesus' death a sham and His resurrection a hoax? Etc......

& still despite all these doubts tt non-believers, agnostics, atheists etc raised, the case for Christ was POWERFULLY defended throughout the entire book! =)
I have to admit my love towards God grew with each turning page, as my knowledge of Him increases.

Really just wanna shout it out my lungs... YOU ARE REAL. I LOVE YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!!
