My Life, Your Story.

I'll be having job rotation soon!! To 2/3 other underwriting depts lasting abt 1 month each! (depends on how fast i learn & whether are there any urgent stuffs i need to settle in my own dept)

Amazing leh.. To think i only been in this co. for half a yr only. Thank God for the favour from ppl. Thank God for this rare opportunity!!

Today met Josephine (one of the managers) on my way to work. She asked me how am i coping here in CIC.. got see prospects anot.. Haa i juz told her i like the environment very much, like what i'm doing, & excited abt what's coming up (the job rotation thingy) coz can learn more things. Then probably i'll wait for another 1yr plus or so then see got other better options available outside not. She agreed, saying young ppl shld not settle down in a company so fast..(she's encouraging me to job hop!)

But i think it's not difficult to rise up in CIC. Ppl have been telling me that young ppl are a rare commodity here & thus, we will be given many opportunities. & if you are gd, promotions won't be difficult. (But still, i don't wan promotions w/o a satisfying pay increase lah) Still, i'm optimistic. Been here half a yr & i've seen tremendous improvements that prompts me to hold on to this job. & i feel like i'm improving together w CIC. =)

& hey, given a choice, would you rather be a small fish in a big pond, or a big fish in a small pond (that's slowly growing in pond size)?
