Last night my annual CNY Agents' dinner was a great success!! All thanks to God, & those who prayed for me! Thankew~~~~ So happi.. & noe wat? In the end i decided to go ahead w my performance! Haha. For those who duno, i was the Emcee for the dinner. & on top of that, Eric told me earlier it would be gd if we have a special performance on our side (organiser) so he strongly encouraged me to do something.. But was juz thinking that if i were to sing again (like last year), it would not be something new. I needed a new idea, but yet i can be able to do it comfortably too. Sooo i decided to sing & PLAY a song at the same time.. yeap.. with the guitar which i haven't touch for like more than half a yr! What a bold idea! =p But with ahli, juan, alex, leen, haze, and some colleagues strong encouragements & prayers, i decided to go ahead (BY FAITH!!) with my Stephanie Sun's 超快感 performance on stage. =)

Results? Hee I did it. The responses were v gd to my surprise!! ^-^

What happened was my strumming actually go pretty way-off in the middle of the song.. & den my D & G got almost MUTED coz i cldnt change them fast enuf & thus cldnt press the strings down hard... haaa.. But Eric assured me after that they didnt notice anything wrong. Coz the mic was put beside my mouth & not the guitar, so from the floor audience, they only see me strumming to the beat (looks kinda Zai they say haha) & listening to my voice, which they claimed was gd.. Thank God for my God-given voice too.. Whew. & yup thank God that the guitar was soft too la... haha.

But the real gush of satisfaction came was when the dinner ended, a lot of agents came up to me (including those i wasn't even familiar w) to thank me for the nite and said they enjoyed themselves very much this year. What else can an organiser ask for other than this???? Not that the dinner was well-organised, not that the games were exciting, not that the performances/my performance were gd & refreshing..

But that they had ENJOYED themselves. Woah. Nothing can describe how satisfied i was when i heard that lor..

And the dinner won't be a success without these wonderful ppl's help:
Internal - Eric, Gina, Guodong, Mitchell, Ivan, Veron, Courtney, Christopher, Joanne, Angela, Sim, Jane, Poh Lan, Management staff ppl.
External - Chris from Meritus helping out w the hotel's logistics, Zul w the banner & ktv system, Karen w the trophies, Maryliz w the doorgifts.

Will post up the pics soon once i got hold of them from Mr Sim! This dinner definitely marks a gd end to my 1 & 1/2 yrs span in China Insurance.. YEah! =)
