My Life, Your Story.

It was such a refreshing experience last Friday as Andy & I went for a dance event organized by our church zone, meant for couples within the same zone to come & learn dancing together.. It was really fun.. We learnt Waltz (imagine that!) & Cha Cha, almost an hour for each dance.

And the interesting thing is we are like the youngest couple over there. Coz most of them are married (we even have pregnant ladies!), & it makes me wonder how they even choose the couples within the zone to join in the 1st place.. But leave this aside, it was indeed a fun fun time for the both of us!

Waltz.. - Basic footing looks simple, but to actually dance it & to dance to LOOK GOOD, BLEH. *shake head* Haha. We toyed & whizzed around, unsure where & when to turn.. stepping on each other feet.. complaining that each other's elbows are heavy.. & my dear Andy being so cheeky i just almost cldn't stop laughing at his stupid actions & thought we were dancing some other dance other than the romantic & elegant Waltz!

& Cha Cha~ - this more fast-paced & sassy moves dance definitely suits us better & i can say we dance pretty decently! Haha.. But one constant distraction was a SUPER FUNNY couple who happens to dance beside us.. I tell u they were simply HILARIOUS. Andy upon seeing how they dance together, laughed till he almost choked & teared lor, no joke. But the very heartwarming thing is they don't care how badly they dance... they just continue to enjoy themselves away with each other.. Giggling away into each other arms when they collide. *sweet* A joy to see lah.. very very adorable pair i shld say. Hee. ;)

Yupz so it was during the buffet dinner that Yahlan, my church zone supervisor, came over to both of us and asked how we find this event, and asked us whether next time should this be opened to more dating couples. Needless to say wat was our answer to that! Definitely!

I think the church is really going up another level, making more efforts to meet the needs of different profiles of its members.. Guess we all have grown up.. Attitudes, mindsets, needs & likings are no longer the same as compared when we first joined as teens/young adults.. No matter wat, I believe church shld be a place where ppl can find rest, find joy, find excitment, find fulfillment, find true frenz & also, a place where individual needs can be met.. It's never a place meant for condemnation/judgement/competiton/pressure to excel/boringness..

I really like my new cg. Karen.. Alan.. Alvin.. Erwin.. Mae.. Angel.. Eileen.. Kayboon.. Binghui.. Beldin.. Grace.. Bevan.. & yesss WAN EE! So much things i wanna share about them, but duno how to share it here. Wells.. this is probably meant for another entry, another time.

Just want to say - God is good! In good times & bad times, He's alwiz good! & no matter what, He alwiz has the best interests for us! Realized that it's often the worst times, that i learnt the greatest lessons of life, & my own weaknesses & flaws. Yea.. He's made perfect in our weaknesses. Amen! =p

Oh & i wanna say it loud & clear here something. I luv my Antz!!! Especially after a SUPER long talk with my dear jeanie babie jie some nites ago (the talk meant for another entry!), i was reminded of how truly blessed i'm to have YOU. YES U. My Mr Imperfectly Perfect One! ANDY LI YIN JIE! Haha.. U've taught me a lot.. showered me with lotsa love i know u dun really know how intially.. haha. Yea.. duno wat to say, but i know you'll like it i mention you here, so im doing it now! Hahaha.. U're one amazing guy lah. Really. Muackz. So so blessed to have you by my side. ;D
