Serendipity: The faculty of making fortunate discoveries by accident.

Word History of SERENDIPITY: Finder of this letter, English author Horace Walpole says that "this discovery, indeed, is almost of that kind which I call Serendipity, a very expressive word." Walpole formed the word on an old name for Sri Lanka, Serendip. He explained that this name was part of the title of "a silly fairy tale, called The Three Princes of Serendip: as their highnesses traveled, they were always making discoveries, by accidents and sagacity, of things which they were not in quest of...."

Finally i got to watch this show last night. His favourite show. The way he used to talk to me about it made me searched high and low for it, but always in vain. Still remember he was so enthu about it that he quickly went to grab his dictionary to find the exact meaning of SERENDIPITY and read it aloud to me thru phone. Haha how cute right.. And i was fascinated by this word since then. U noe how poor my Ang Mo is so of coz i wont know that this title has a meaning by itself that is so beautiful. Ironically in the end i got this piece at the rental shop at Simei where he rented it there in the past. It seems like the only place to find it. Haiz.. Was so afraid that i might bumped into him coz i know he lives damn nearby, and often drop by there to rent vcds. Won't know what to say to him if it really happens. *shrug*

I know it is foolish to cling on. But i juz couldnt help it. Whenever i stepped into a vcd shop i will 自然而然 go look around for this show. Juz feel 遗憾吧 if i missed this show. Coz bcoz of him, i had always wanted to watch it. Yah so my wish is "granted" in a way liao. A REALLY REALLY nice show. Cant stop myself from agreeing with the lead, Kate Beckinsale, who strongly believd in fate and destiny, even if it means risking the possibility of both parties not being able to see each other at all in the future. And what's left is only a vague sweet memory of them enjoying a day together. She believed that if 2ppl are meant to be together, they will be in the end. Although the show was exaggerated a bit here and there, inserting some sweet humour, nevetheless i do feel it is able to reflect something in reality. You do not need much time to really fall for someone. Just an evening might be enough. Glad that he loved this show and intro it to me. I loved it too. =)

Things do happen accidentally. And definitely, this is a fortunate discovery for me.
