I'm a sucker for QUALITY time only i realized. NOT QUANTITY. Hrmm tt's a revelation. But i wonder is this gd..

I was asked this qn again. "Is there such thing as 'The One'?"
I duno leh.. i seriously duno.

But one thing i believe, in all matters, we work in partnership w God.
Like wat Pst Kong said in Pro 18:22 "He who finds a wife finds a good thing,And obtains favor from the LORD."

So who does the finding?
WE do the finding.
& God'll guide us along the way.

Rem Pst Kong quoted a very gd example to illustrate this "finding". Imagine there is only 1 girl in a room that is filled with 50 guys. These guys are all believers, having a heart that's after God's very own heart. And not only are they very much on fire for the Lord, they are committed to personal growth, matured & positive in thinking, financially responsible, emotionally healthy & open, walking in integrity & honest etc blah blah....In other words, they all have great characters.

So which one shld that grl choose among all these 50guys who all seems so potential? Dilemma?? But there's one thing. ONE thing that can kill & separate all these 50guys & downsize them down to probably only a handful. Probably only 1-2. Or prob even 0. & that is?

Personal chemistry.

U either HAVE IT, or u DON'T.

I like tis chunk that he said abt personal chemistry -

"Between u & yr partner, there's a need to have some form of personal chemistry in order to distinguish between yr relationship fr a friendship. Otherwise whats so special abt tis partner? Otherwise wat makes him/her different from the rest of yr frenz? Now personal chemistry doesn't always have to be INSTANT. There might be somebody u might not feel anything for (intially). But as u get to know him u get to know her, all of a sudden the chemistry began to come forth. Gradual attraction is usually more genuine bcoz u are not just focusing on the physical looks. U are attracted to the whole person."

So by continuing thinking that there's such thing as "Love At First Sight", we are truly taking a risk. Usually love at 1st sight's more like LUST at 1st sight, he said. Lol. Continuing....

"Next to your relationship w God, falling in love with your best friend can be the most fulfilling experience of yr life time. 'But wat if my best friend is of the same sex with me?' Don't marry! U haven find the RIGHT person yet."

Pastor's sooooo funi. =p
